Al Madinah Cuisine

A Journey on the silk road from india

About us

At Al Madinah Cuisine, Marshfield (AMCM), we are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you today. Here in the heart of Wisconsin, we treat every guest as though they were our own family joining us at our home. Our passion for the exchange of cultures and spices on the ancient Silk Road has always fascinated us, and we strive to bring this rich history to life through our culinary creations.

Our menu features a tantalizing array of dishes, combining tradition with innovation. Drawing inspiration from the historical Silk Road that connected Northwestern China to Istanbul—a route famed for the trade of silk, perfume, and spices—we have crafted an amalgamation of flavors from Northern India, Peshawar, Kabul, and Persia. At AMCM, we use many of those legendary spice blends, hand-picked to complement every ingredient, to take you on a memorable journey that will expand your taste buds and experiences forever.

We pride ourselves on using certified Wisconsin-raised halal and kosher meats, ensuring that every dish is prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Our goal is to tell a story through our cuisine, making every bite an exploration of cultures and flavors.

We offer a diverse selection of North Indian Mughlai, Indian Kashmiri Wazwan, Afghani, and Hyderabadi delicacies, each meticulously prepared to bring you the authentic tastes of these rich culinary traditions. With dishes like Kabuli Pulaav and Seekh Kebabs, we recreate the true essence of the Silk Road, bringing its culinary heritage to life. Our epicurean journey takes you through the valleys of Kashmir with a tapestry of flavors and exquisite craftsmanship. From fragrant biryanis to decadent kormas that originated in the royal quarters of historical cities like Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, and Hyderabad, our Mughlai and Hyderabadi cuisine invites you to a banquet fit for the Kings, Sultans, and Nizams.

Restaurant owners

Al Madinah Cuisine was previously run by a wonderful Hyderabadi Couple (Syed and Najeeb). To preserve the legacy they left behind and hopefully add newer and greater flavors to be one of the most sought-after Indian Restaurants in the area, the new owners, Umer, and Avantika have partnered with Siyar to try and take it to newer heights.
